Make innovations in security system

What is DEFENDER-X?

A system that automatically analyzes a person's emotions and mental state from camera images and makes it possible to detect suspicious persons in advance.

DEFENDER-X demonstrates its ability in preventing troubles and accidents, preventing crimes, and early resolution of crimes.

It analyzes the mental state by extracting the human vibration component from the video. Suspicious people are detected and identified in advance from the analysis results and displayed by a red frame.

Features of DEFENDER-X

DEFENDER-X automatically analyzes a person's mental state (emotion) and detects in advance a person who may commit a crime.

It can be easily added to existing security systems and can be used in a variety of applications. We will contribute to the creation of a safe and secure society with this new technology.

  1. Prevent crimes by detecting suspicious persons in advance at the entrance, following them and requesting support
(Conventional surveillance camera systems only record criminal acts)
  2. A matching database is not required, and suspicious individuals can be detected in advance from an unspecified number of people (Persons not included in the data cannot be detected by matching with the criminal database or by the "face recognition/pattern recognition" method)
  3. Detection of suspicious persons from real-time surveillance images as well as past recorded images (contributes to the identification of criminals, deterrence and early resolution of incidents) *This is an optional function.
  4. It can be easily added to existing surveillance camera systems and does not affect existing systems (can save installation costs by utilizing existing cameras)
  5. Versatile application. Prevention of damage caused by drugs as well as strengthening of external and internal crime prevention.

Proactively detect potential criminals in crowds.

By tracking and following the detected suspicious persons, crimes can be prevented and the crime deterrent effect will be improved.

Next-generation security system DEFENDER-X makes a revolution.

Principle of DEFENDER-X

*The system analyzes and detects suspicious persons based on information from ①, ②, and ③.

Underlying theory of DEFENDER-X

It is a system that analyzes the mental state (emotion) of animals, including humans, based on the vibration of the entire body and a huge amount of basic data, and detects those who are considered suspicious in advance.

Introduction video of DEFENDER-X

High reliability indicated by numbers (verification results of the Sochi Olympics)

Security situations Inspection results
Number of pavilions 117 pavilions(262 gates) Number of visitors 2.7 million (120,000/day at a peak period)
Number of surveillance cameras 262 sets  (1 set/gate) Number of people who passed through each gate 1200 ppl/day
Number of the installed systems 131 sets  (1 set for 2 cameras) Number of detected persons per 1 gate 5 to 1 ppl /day
■Security results (Number of the detected suspicious persons: about 2620 ppl/day)

92% of the detected persons were actually rejected at the entrance

(Possession of prohibited items such as drugs, alcohol, and explosives: 72%, abnormal behavior: 8%, without tickets, illegal tickets: 20%)

Analysis error: 8% of the detected persons were allowed to enter (falsely rejected rate)

No criminal was overlooked by the system (FAR=0%) because there was no criminal act during the Olympic period.
